“The Moonlit Sanctuary was wonderful. We saw wombats, kangaroos, koalas and birds. The ride back and forth was 2 hrs each way and the van had pretty uncomfortable seats, especially in the back where it was very bumpy. The penguin parade was great. Wear warm clothes because it can get very chilly.”

“The information said to meet outside the immigration building at 2.45pm we arrived at 2.30pm so plenty of time but the coach was around the corner on a different street. Luckily we looked around the corner at 2.40pm! Was a little disappointed as we might have missed the bus!”

“The tour operator Autopia changed pick up location without telling me. Many other tourists also did not receive the new location. Only One of the stranger tourists received a new location email. The bus was late, adding more anxiety to the situation. The driver never said anything about it… the sites we visited were nice. Otherwise you would have to drive on your own for two hours one way…”

“From the time we were picked up with guide Lorraine it was a very interesting and fun day. The Puffing Billy train raid was like going back in time and the hour went by fast. On the drive to Phillip Island Lorraine told us a lot about the Island and the animals living there and of course about the penguins. Before we saw the penguin parade we drove around and got to see wallabies, geese and we were lucky enough to see a penguin in his burrow. The penguin parade was very interesting, seeing the penguins in real life.”

“The cruise was good, it was quite harsh for someone who’s sea sick but they can’t really plan the waves or weather, so overall, really good experience. I would only suggest maybe putting on music or having a bit of animation on the way since there’s quite a long time without anything to see.”
