“Great excursion! The puffy Billy train is nice, sitting on the windows is funny and part of the excursion to enjoy the view but it’s not comfortable. We went to different beaches and view points in Phillip island. But the highlight was definitely the penguin parade, it was really amazing 🤩. The upgrade to the penguin plus is great, all the penguins will arrive just in front of you, so paying a small extra definitely worth it if you want to really enjoy the experience. The guide was nice and friendly.”

“From the time we were picked up with guide Lorraine it was a very interesting and fun day. The Puffing Billy train raid was like going back in time and the hour went by fast. On the drive to Phillip Island Lorraine told us a lot about the Island and the animals living there and of course about the penguins. Before we saw the penguin parade we drove around and got to see wallabies, geese and we were lucky enough to see a penguin in his burrow. The penguin parade was very interesting, seeing the penguins in real life.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed the day trip. Gina was a brilliant tour guide, very friendly and accommodating. An efficient half day tour, you're back in the CBD by 1pm-2pm to enjoy the rest of the afternoon. Our only, slight, comment would be that there is in inequality of views depending which side of the carriage you sit on. Whilst both have nice views, one is significantly better. This is no fault of Gina's, of course, however perhaps she could suggest to all of those in the carriage that it would be polite to switch sides half way around so everyone can enjoy the view over the valleys.”

“This was such a good tour, the driver/tour guide was so friendly and personal, I was travelling by myself and he would often come over and see how i was doing, and he was so patient, even though one family was always late returning to the bus every stop, such a good lad. The only thing I would recommend is if you have dietary requirements, bring your own food. I had to survive on snacks all day because the food places were either expensive to order something I could actually eat or mcdonalds at the end, and we usually dont have enough time to eat at the cheaper places, so…”
